Effective 1st September 2020, Cairo International Bank rebranded to Cairo Bank Uganda Limited. The change in name came with a brand new logo, a change in colors and a revised brand promise “Growing with you”. This is a culmination of a process that started in 2019 when our shareholder Banque Du Caire (BDC) acquired 100% shareholding in the Bank.
The change means the Bank is now positioned to leverage on a strong shareholder relationship being part of a larger group with a strong presence, supporting customers by opening their doors to endless opportunities and as well continue being a key player in the Ugandan economy with a renewed brand promise of “Growing with you”.

Achieve set targets and take accountability for the overall achievement of performance objectives
for the Relationship officers within the Unit in terms of Sales growth for both deposits and Assets,
income contribution and manage impairment.
A University degree in any Field.
At least 4-7 years’ working experience in the Financial Services Industry.
Monitor and scan the regulatory environment for any regulatory changes and preparing
an impact analysis that provides insights for management decision making.
University degree preferably in Business or Accounting coupled with full professional accounting
qualifications e,g CPA, ACCA or CIMA.
At least 3 years’ experience in a middle management accounting position of a busy financial/commercial organization.

Cairo Bank Uganda Limited is a fully owned subsidiary by Banque Du Caire (BDC) set up with the intention of expanding BDC’s presence across the continent whilst providing an entry point into the COMESA market for corporate.
Incorporated as Cairo International Bank in 1995, the bank began operations in the same year after receiving a commercial banking license from the Bank of Uganda.
The bank went through a shareholding change at the beginning of 2020 with Banque Du Caire, owning 62.4% of the bank acquiring the stake of Bank Misr 24% and National Bank of Egypt’s 13.6% to fully own the bank.
As of December 2019 the total assets of CIB were valued at USh189 billion (US$50 million) with shareholders’ equity of USh52.3 billion (US$13.9 million).
